2 is better than 1 :)

Hey all- For those of you that don't know today is my birthday...oh yeah and also Mother's Day! I am a whopping 2 years old!!! This picture is from my outing last week at Tampa Bay in Channelside watching my Aunt Lauren compete in the dragonboat races....Go Sea Dragons :) This is my friend Kylie and her dad has a boat named Bada Bing. We played on the dock a little and she is now on a 3 month boating trip to New York....and I thought my travel trips north were long :) This morning I went swimming at the causeway and am in between naps right now so I thought I would report to you all how I'm doing. Soon enough we will be back north to play with my 4 legged Mommy and friends for a little bit.....see you soon and Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there. Brrrrrr did you have negative temperatures this morning too? It was minus 7 when my Mommy woke me up to go out and my feets were not happy :( Luckily I have boots to wear and for some reason they make me CRAZY when I put them on....as you can see from the video! I act like someone is chasing me and start digging through the snow with my nose. Stay warm and talk to you all soon.....

King of the Hill

Hi all- If you live in the Northeast you can agree we have gotten a ton of new snow and not many places to put it. My papa plowed a big pile of it and now we have a huge hill. Hi guys! For those of you in the north today was the first real snow for us and Whiskey loved every minute of it. I was trying to take pictures of him, but he wouldn't hold still so here is a video of him loving up the snow :) It's titled Where's Mommy because that is what Mike says to him and why you can't see part of him. We will try to take more pics and video of him as it gets snowier.......but I'm hoping those are going to be at a minimum :) Take care and stay warm-

Got Onstar?

Yes, this is a Public Service Announcement for Onstar! You know how people normally get locked OUT of their vehicle....well I got locked IN the vehicle last night. We were at my grandparents house in NY and my papa wanted to turn the heat on for me and leave the truck running with the remote starter. Well we learned our lesson that when you start the truck remotely you have to hit the lock button and then realized to get the heat on you have to put the key in the ignition......are you all having a lightbulb moment :) Luckily we have Onstar and called to have them unlock the doors. Oddly enough one of the options when you call is to have your doors unlocked for a pet so I guess they get this alot! Well don't eat too much turkey and enjoy your day off. We are having a fire to burn some scrap wood....sure hope we don't have to blog about that LOL! Talk to you later-

Live to Ride....Ride to Live!

WANTED: A gently used motorcycle sidecar that fits an FLHX. Must have roll down door, seating for myself and a plus one....you never know who you meet at biker events and I'm really into blondes lately! Prefer a windshield or complete cover to protect from the weather (can't have the blondes getting wet from the rain), prefer a harness or seatbelt and room to stretch out on the floor (there is a Key West poker run in our future and that's a looong way!). As you can see I have my doggles already and am ready for the wind in my hair feeling :) Maybe I will get a scarf like you see people wear in the old movies. Well keep your eyes peeled for my sidecar....I'm not getting any younger and neither are the blondes! Talk to you later-

HI there....the latest adventures in Whiskey's world is allergy testing :( Yes that is a sad face. I have been itching like crazy and had rash like sores all down my back and on my legs so we went to visit my friend Dr. Moore at EBAH. The blood work goes all the way to California and then they tell me if it's a food or environmental allergy next week. I may be turning into a vegan soon haha :) I'm on some medications and am a little sleepier than my normal self so I thought this picture was appropriate....I almost blend in with the chair! I hear it's raining cats and dogs up north so I'm hoping my new siblings are safe inside with my mom Lilly. I can't forget to say hi to my favorite babysitters Alexis and Sierra.....hope school is going well! Talk to you all soon-

Throwing in the towel.....

Hi all! Yes, it has been a few months and I am now back in sunny FL. I'm tuckered out from all of the walks to the park and playing with the dogs next door. My neighbors have 4 german shepards and they get to swim in a big person's pool and I got to play with them the other night. No, my mom doesn't have pics because it was late at night and we sort of just jumped in......maybe next time! They also have a small kiddie pool that I played in with one of the german puppies Harley. I'm thinking of using my allowance money for one although I really would like a side car to go with my papa's bike :) There is a Humane Society poker run this weekend and how much fun will that be to see all the dogs and bikes together!!! I just don't fit like I used to.....

HI there! You all by now have seen my new swimming abilities and so today I am resting up for another adventure at the beach. With it being so hot these days I tried to find the coolest place in the house....just doesn't work like it used to :( Stay cool and enjoy the movie my mom sent.

XRAYDOG

Keeping with the Bike Week theme...if I had a motorcycle this is what my plate would read :) I wore myself out in Laconia so much that I was vomiting up anything put in front of me since Thursday. We ended up going to the Burlington Emergency Vet and Specialists (BEVS) and I had a whole lot of not fun things done....I said no needles and nothing in my butt and now my Papa and I are not speaking! I did however have some xrays to see if there was anything fun I had swallowed and as you can see....all clear....whew! I was nervous I ate something I shouldn't have and would be in trouble :) I got IV fluids under the skin and they put them in 5 different places. They don't absorb too quickly so when I came back to my room I looked like a pack mule with bags on my back LOL! It turned out to be an irritated stomach and I am back to my normal crazy self....I know you are all sighing with relief :) Well I have to get back to my nap I started this morning.....just thought I would post the latest adventure. Spring Break 2010

Hey all! The weather is getting nicer here everyday so I have been working on my tan :) I have to look good at the dog park you know! Some days you don't even need to be out in the driveway because the sun comes right in the garage....talk about being lazy. Well enough blogging....must get back to the sun! Have you seen my dad?

Wow...can't believe it has been almost a month since I last checked in. I have been doing some searching to see what my dad looks like....not the one you are thinking of :) Don't be confused by the pictures because these are of my dad...Sunnydaze Flashback to be exact. Yes, we all have cool names like that! I guess I can't ever say I'm not related to him because it's pretty hard to not see the resemblance....shorter legs and a big furry chest! I think next I need to find my FL mommy because she has been traveling all over these days. The new snake

"Well my Valentine's Day snake didn't really make it to the actual day. Now he is blind because I ripped his eyes off to get to the stuffing behind them! I have a new snake that is stuffing free and has 6 squeakers in him :) I like to drag him around the house and we have even taken a nap together as you can see. I went to doggie daycare the other day and showed them my trick of how I can pick up the water dishes WITH the water in them still....magic I tell you! My papa felt so bad that he donated a 2.5 gallon bucket like we have at my house and my mom made them cookies :) They said they will save it for me so I can use it the next time I come....I guess I'm still allowed because they said next time!!! Just a day at the park

"Today we saw three alligators, two on the bank together and one further down on another bank. Lots of birds and turtles out sunning themselves now that it's warmer. We go on a walk most days around noon and I get to go in the water at the boat launch and try to chase the ducks :) On our way home there is a house that has a spongy sod yard and I love walking on it. So much that it nearly puts me to sleep and at the end of it I have to lay down and take a little rest! I am going to doggie day care this Saturday to go and play all day with some new friends. It's a house that is converted into a "pet resort" and we all get to run around the house all day and play inside and out. They also have sleep overs that I might get to take part in if my parents will ever go away!!! Hope you all are staying warm...."

"Meet my new friend Rocky....as in Rocky Road. I only hang out with dogs that have cool names like mine :) He is 5 months old and is off to boot camp/training for 3 weeks. He tells me he can jump on counters and open doors all by himself. I'm thinking he needs to show me how to do that when he gets back! We played so long that he layed down in a pool of dirty water....not sure his mom was happy. Oh well until then my mom needs to buy some more of that ice cream because WE ARE OUT!!! I hope you all are staying warm and that someone comes to visit me soon. It's awful lonely down here in the sun....by the beach....at the dog park....haha just kidding, but I do miss everyone. Ice Cream Hangover

"So there has been no sign of allowance, BUT I did however get something better than that.....ice cream!!! Ok ice cream for 4 legged children :) It was peanut butter and cheese flavored and it was delishhhh! After that I was put in some sort ice cream induced coma, but I'm hoping there is more in that tall cold thing that has a door and the light turns on when you open it. I say Eat Dessert First :)"

Going Green....

"My mom calls me Booger Face and it has been especially true the last few days. I think that snake gave me something in the attack!!! I have what looks like human pink eye and I think it's the snake venom trying to leave my body :) I went to the Doctor today and got weighed, got to ride on a dog elevator table, have my temperature taken AND the best part was they put some stain in my eyes that turned green. I looked like I was turning into The Hulk when it was oozing out my eyes and nose....no cameras please!!! Oh and by the way I weigh 73.5 pounds to be exact....I'm what Weight Watchers would call "Maintaining" :) They said I have an eye infection and it's because of this lovely weather we have had lately and to use drops to make it all better. Oh well....just another adventure to add to the Whiskey list. I must say hi to my cool vet Dr. Robin Moore at East Bay Animal Hospital who turned me into the Green Monster.....no not the one in Boston :) Take care and talk to you later-The W"
